Sylvania Lighting International Group, a multinational lighting manufacturer and distributor, is looking for a Paralegal, based in the Budapest Headquarter of the EMEA Region, reporting to the Head of Legal, to support the truly international business teams of the corporation.

Key Responsibilities
- Assists in updating and hosting corporate policies databases;
- Takes part in administrating the corporate data privacy processes;
- Assists in the arrangement for compliance trainings of employees;
- Assists in maintaining various records in the field of compliance;
- Assists in maintaining a monthly global litigation report;
- Assists in operating the whistleblowing system;
- Assists in KYC, AML data collections;
- Implements legal-related invoice approval and tracking processes;
- Assists in maintaining the corporate-law databases;
- Cooperates particularly with the Corporate Legal Manager and the Junior Compliance Counsel of the Budapest Headquarters legal department;
- Provides administrative backup in the corporate matters of operating and holding entities worldwide;
- Provides administrative backup in maintaining the various records regarding the data of the legal entities.
Person specification and background
- Degree in law or economics / financials / business or public administration, or ongoing university studies (however not as internal student) is a nice-to-have;
- Excellent IT user skills;
- At least good intermediate English;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Legal administration experience is a particular nice-to-have.
